Coffee & Cookies flyer (Rapid Visualization Project)
WGD 205 (Advanced Design and Rapid Visualization) – For this assignment, I designed two different flyers for the fictional coffee shop “Coffee and Cookies.” The design utilizes stock photography, guides, layers, layer styles, various font effects, and opacity effects. The second flyer is below.

Orange County Fair Poster (Web Graphic Design Project)
WGD 201 (Visual Design Fundamentals) – For this assignment, we had to create a “collage” with a consistent theme. I chose to make a flyer for the Orange County fair, utilizing a collage of orange stock photos, along with brushes. Utilizes layers, layer styles, gradients, and various font effects.

NSCS Holiday Card
National Society of Collegiate Scholars Holiday Card entry – The NSCS holds an annual contest for student members to design its holiday card; this was my entry, featuring my original artwork. The art utilizes brushes, textures, and layer styles.

Hunger Banquet Postcard (front)
The Hunger Banquet is an event put on by the California State University – Northridge chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars to bring awareness to poverty and hunger in the world. The postcard was printed and distributed to students as an invitation to the event. Utilizes layers and layer styles, opacity effects, guides, and filter effects.

WGD 205 (Advanced Design and Rapid Visualization) – Another assignment in the same vein as the above flyers was to design a website for the Coffee & Cookies chain. However, the sites were only wireframed, never fully coded, so this is an illustrative example of the website only. The design utilizes layers, layer styles, guides, font effects, filter effects, and patterns.

Fresh Air (Web Graphic Design Final Project) layout
WGD 201 (Visual Design Fundamentals) – For my final project in this course at DeVry University, I designed a functional website for a fictional company, Fresh Air Air Conditioners. Above is an example of the site’s layout, featuring layers, layer styles, guides, slices, opacity effects, filter effects, image maps, CSS styling including rollover-image hover menus, and HTML optimization.

Memorandum of Understanding fanlisting layout – utilizes original Photoshop imagery as well as modified graphics (photographs, United States Marshal logo/badge), in addition to layers and layer styles, guides, slices, image maps, CSS retooling, HTML optimization, DIV layers, and inline frames.

Gender & Women’s Studies: Intersections of Gender, Race, Class, and Sexuality – Gay Rights in America project site layout – Designed to resemble an actual print newspaper, but to utilize web-only tools like image maps/links embedded within an image. Utilizes layers, layer styles, guides, slices, HTML optimization, CSS retooling, image maps, and DIV layers.
